In the fourth quarter of 2022, the performance of the top Food and Drink apps on the iOS platform in Central America revealed interesting trends. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads, active users, and revenue for the top 5 applications in this category.

Rappi: Market and Food Online showed a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 29.7K and peaking at approximately 34.9K in the last week of December. The app’s weekly revenue varied, reaching its highest point at $7K in the final week. Active users fluctuated slightly, starting from 575.6K and ending at 511K.

DiDi Food - Food Delivery experienced steady weekly downloads, beginning at 23.2K and reaching 27.2K by the end of December. The app maintained a stable user base with active users peaking at 200.9K in late November before declining to 176.2K by the quarter’s end.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery also showcased a consistent download pattern, starting at 19.4K and climbing to 24K in the final week of December. Active users saw a slight decrease from 505.8K to 445.4K over the quarter.

mi OXXO had a mixed quarter with weekly downloads beginning at 19K and dipping to 11K mid-quarter before rising to 14K by the end. The app’s active users ranged from 56.4K at the start to 52.8K at the close of December.
